Ron Bell
Very nice finish, but I believe it's spelled Sturmtiger, not Strumtiger. One assaults the other plays the guitar.
802chrisg
You are very correct Mr. Bell. I have corrected the issue. Thanks Chris

ghodges
Love it Chris! Questions... Are the fenders you "mangled" pe or plastic, and did you use any special tricks to get that look? Is the casting on the gun mantlet your work, or kit cast? What did use for the chipping? And (being a plane guy), what is that "thingy" hanging by a chain on the side of the turret? Great work! Congrats! GIL
802chrisg
Thanks Russell and Gil, The Fenders are PE that I used to replace the kit ones. I used plier and cutters to mangle up the fenders. The Item hanging on the side of the structure is and Armor Plug. It was seen on German and Russian AFV. It was for ventalation, a somewhat view port and could be used for a pistal port. The chipping was done with burnt amber paint that was free hand painted on random. The trick is to do this after the camo paint is done and before any weathering. I blend everything in with washes, rust streaks, rain streaks, and more washes. As for the cast on the mantel it was part of the kit. I used the Tamiya Sturmtiger kit. Chris :Smile_sceptic:
