Ron Bell
I brought this up under another topic, but thought it deserved it's own. This is a new product (at least new to me.) from MicroMark. They call it "surface details", I call it rivits. The rivets are three dimensionally printed on decal carrier film as are the various grids/grills that are on the sheet. You cut out what you need, apply them as normal decals, only before painting, then paint over them and they look like rivits. You don't see the carrier film either. A great time saver and keeps your rivits in straight rows or regular curves. They say they are HO scale, but I've used them in 1/72 and they look fine. I got two sheets in one packet for $15. Well worth it to me. This is the company info. You get two of these 7X9 sheeets Some sample shots of what's on the sheets
ewahl
Agreed! I bought these sheets when they first appeared in the MicroMark catalog. I bought both sizes. Compared to similar products, the sheer quantity of rivets is a great value, and the ease of use is wonderful. I've never been able to control a pounce wheel or The Riveter as easily or as well.
