stefanwest
Bought this kit from a thrift store 15 years ago for a quarter. So what the heck, I tried something different and challenging. Was trying to build it OOB and make it look the best my skills could do. WildBill50
Very cool looking, Steve. The black paint makes it look sinister looking. Nice job. What did you do for the chipped paint...pencil, paints, salt? Bill
Ron Bell
Those Heller kits were pretty nice for the day and especially for the price. Much above Airfix or Matchbox. Their only rivals were the old Revell 1/72 fighter kits. Nice job, by the way, especially on the canopy framing.
ghodges
Great looking Hurricane, and in markings you don't often see. Congrats! GIL
stefanwest
I used a small sponge with paint on to make the chipped paint look on the plane.
Dreamsof51
It's not a bad kit, it just needed some love. I love the MkII with those big cannons. Very cool little project. Some of my most enjoyable projects have ones I found cheap. Proof oldies can still be goodies! Thanks for sharing.
