Tru-Color Paint would like to enlist the help of modelers of WWI and Interwar period aircraft for the correct colors we should develop for this era. In particular we need help with accurate colors for French and German WWI Bi-Planes plus the linen colors for British WWI planes. Note that we already have 2 PC-10 Olive Drab colors and a PC-12 color for British aircraft. Between the wars, we believe planes' colors were made simpler without the need for camouflage colors. Is this a correct assumption ? Regardless of the answer, what colors were planes in this era painted ? Any help modeler

A modeler recently asked us to develop different shades of the same color to represent a freshly painted AFV versus a faded or aged vehicle. This is so subjective to so many modelers, it would be nearly impossible to satisfy everyone with the choices we would have. Thus, I will give you a suggestion on how you can accomplish this using Tru-Color Paint. As you will learn upon using Tru-Color Paint it is a solvent based paint. Since the polymer (the resin that binds the pigments used to the model) is the SAME in every formulation of Tru-Color Paint and the solvent ratios used in the manufacture

I recently bought the AMT 1:32 1963 Studebaker Avanti kit (AMT885/12). I wonder if any of you can help me regarding exterior and interior colors. Checking on http://www.theavanti.net (website of the Avanti Owners Association International), I found paint colors used for the Avanti, and upholstery and carpet color schemes for '63 Avantis. After seeing photos of one on The Vault Classic Cars (www.vaultcars.com/1963-avanti), I want to do one in Avanti Gold (Color Code P-6333, Rinshed-Nasson No. 63S72), with interior in Color Scheme 1 of Fawn (instrument board, upper door moulding and rear shelf),
