  1. Tru-Color Paint is in the planning stages of developing military paint sets for the modeler. We have about 30 potential sets we could assemble on the drawing board and have produced mock-up art work for all the sets. Our intent is to release 4-6 of these sets at the IPMS National Convention in August of this year. We are requesting the modeler's input as to which of these sets YOU would like to see. Samples of the mock-up sets are attached. These are for the Israeli Air Force Set # 1 and the Metallic Set useful for armor and aircraft models. There will be a poll (or survey) on our website by the end of March showing all of the proposed sets with their composition. We will let you know when the poll is posted on the website so you can vote on the sets we should produce. All military and related areas will be represented - armor, air forces, ships, diorama, figures and detailing and covers the U.S. and Israeli paints (these are the colors currently produced and ready to place into the sets). If you wish to get a jump start on the survey, we can email you a Acrobat file of the description of each set along with their contents. Just let us know if this is wanted by email, this thread or call us. How many manufacturer's request YOUR input on what they should place into production ? Tru-Color Paint listens to our customers and want to be your go to company for accurate, easy to use paint for your models, dioramas, figures, etc. All comments are welcome. Come see us at the IPMS National Convention on August 1-4 in Phoenix, AZ ! Martin Cohen, PhD Tru-Color Paint P.O. Box 74524 Phoenix, AZ 85087-4524 714-488-9779 email: tru.colorpaint1@yahoo.com
  2. Just wanted to make everyone on this forum aware that Tru-Color Paint will be in attendance at the IPMS National Convention being held in Phoenix, AZ on August 1-4, 2018. This will be the first time we are in attendance at a National and we look forward to the experience ! We will have the ENTIRE Tru-Color Paint product line there for U.S. Naval ships from WW2 to date, Japanese Naval ships for WW2 and samples of some colors for Kreigsmarine for WW2. We will also have every color we have for U.S. land forces - armor, vehicles, uniforms, etc; and U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force colors for planes from WW1 to modern times. A sampling of our generic and detail colors will also be on display and for sale. We will have 4 tables with all of our paint for sale. Models using our paint will also be on display. If you plan to attend the IMPS National, drop by our tables and say hello, pick up some paint and flyers. Maybe you have an idea for a color or colors we should have in our product line - bring that up now or at the convention ! Masking paper in 3 and 10 packs will also beavailable. If you want anything specific (like 2 or 16 oz. of any color) brought for you, let us know by responding to this thread, calling or emailing us. We will be happy to accommodate any special order. Looking forward to hearing from you. Martin Cohen, PhD Tru-Color Paint P.O. Box 74524 Phoenix, AZ 85087-4524 714-488-9779
  3. Tru-Color Paint is willing to donate paint samples and pieces of models (cars, planes, ships, railroad, etc.) to any IPMS chapter that is willing to put on a demonstration of our paint at one of your meetings, at a show or any gathering of modelers where there might be interest. Just have a chapter president or secretary contact us. Tell us what you would propose to have a clinic showing how easy it is to use our paint and clean up. Let us know a date, contact name and address (phone # too would be nice) to send the materials to and about how many you believe would attend. If we have ample notification, we may be able to show the clinic date, time and where it is to be held on our website. If there is a preference on what you would like to receive for the demo, let us know. We will try to accommodate the request as there are a limited number of plastic parts to send as pieces to paint. Besides the paint and plastic parts we will send some thinner plus acetone for clean up. Looking forward to hearing from the chapters. IPMS Members - tell your chapter about this offer !
