  1. Any recommendations for which color of EZ Line is best for rigging on biplanes? French Blue or White? Or am I better off staying with invisible thread/fishing line monofilament or fine music wire? Since I'm planning a biplane kit build for a YouTube channel and/or a biplane Modelbuilding Guide, your opinions are more than a little important. Thanks in advance.
  2. This is Eduard's 1:48 scale kit of the French monoplane, Morane Saulnier Type L. I wanted to try to simulate fabric over the fuselage framing, as well as the the wing fabric over the ribs. Rigging is done with EZ Line and the turnbuckles are the PE set from RB Productions (1:32 scale, but work well for quarter scale).
  3. Greetings fellow modelers. While I have been a member of IPMS/USA for some time and am an active member of IPMS/OC here in Southern California, I have not as of yet posted anything in the forum, nor attached any photos of some of my builds. My main focus is on World War One aircraft, and occasionally, armor as well. The "WWIM" is for World War I Modeler. In fact, if you have time and are interested, I invite to check out my website - http://wwimodeler.peoplecatcher.net to view albums of some of my models. Today I am attaching photos of my recently completed Roland D.VIa from Wingnut Wings (1:32 Scale). As many of you know, the WNW kits are second to none and are driving an increased interest in World War One modeling. I welcome your imput, comments, critique, and advice. Thanks!
