  1. Everyone is invited to one of the largest single day model contests that are held on the East Coast. What I'm talking about is the Old Dominion Open that is going to be held on Feb 23, 2013 at the Richmond International Raceway Complex in Richmond, VA. This contest had around 700 models on the tables last year with over 150 vendor tables, all housed in a 30,000 Square foot facility, all under one roof. This year's show will feature 70 categories with up to 15 available splits! We will have a make-n-take for the kids so bring along those kids!!! If they are in scouts, all that much better...come in uniform and entry is free. Registration starts at 8:30 and runs until noon. Awards presentation will start at approximately 5:00 PM. Don't want to compete? Not a problem. Bring your money for a chance at one of the best ever raffles that you will find at any show. Contest Chairman Chazz Klanian expect these numbers to be on parr with a possible larger entry level. The contest location should you like to plug into your GPS device is: Richmond International Raceway Henrico Hall 600 East Laburnum Avenue Richmond, VA 23222 Contact Chazz Klanian at (804)-794-8020 or via email at CSKLANIAN@Verizon.net You may visit the IPMS Richmond Chapter website for further information or forms download at: http://www.ipmsrichm...rg/contest.html Please see our quarter page advertisement on Page 73 of the November/December issue of the IPMS Journal. Come find out why this contest keeps growing in size, year after year. We look forward to having you visit with us for some GOOD OLD HOSPITALITY.
