I joined the local IPMS chapter in 1994, but have been building models since 1970.

I have built something from just about every genre, but I can't seem to get glossy finishes on cars and am too lazy to detail ships. I especially like wacky aircraft (1/72 Luftwaffe '46, X-planes, etc.), armor (1/35 MBTs and German WW II), and sci-fi (Gundam - Universal Century stuff only, and MaK).

My first trip to a national convention was in 2004, and I had a really good time. I particularly remember Jim Wechsler's scratchbuilt 1/35 MBT-70; it was my favorite of the show!

Other interests: Bacon and cheese, not always in that order.
