  1. November 6, 2011 Bay Colony Historical Modelers Association present; IPMS Baycon 2011. See www.ipmsbaycolony.com and click on the Baycon tab for show flyer, entry forms, etc. Coming up on 30 years in the same location, and 43 years as an active club.
  2. Wow, a female sighting on the first day! Seeing pics of the contest area....tables are not raised\elevated in some form? We use 18 inch 1.5 inch diameter PVC pipe on the table legs to keep little prying hands off the models, easier on all spectators and judges backs, and still low enough for wheelchair bound visitors.
  3. We stopped here on a trip 2 years ago....Nice selection of A/C, BUT, many of there were in horrible states of disrepair, quite a shame really. The stuff inside was OK, but the models I saw in the showcases were in really bad shape. Plenty of other sites in the area(Rushmore, Devil's Tower, Deadwood, Custer Park, Badlands, Black Hills, Missle Silo tours), but I wouldn't make a special trip just to see the museum.
  4. Wonderful, another distracted driver on the roads.
  5. Where are these pics? Never mind found it.... http://forum.ipmsusa3.org/index.php?/topic/5646-columbus-blizzcon-2011-photos/
  6. Looks like you just did! The change looks GREAT!! I'm not usually for change to a website(if it's not broke, don't fix it) but this is an improvement!
  7. While it is a nice subject...it's not that great a kit to start with, even if they do include some P/E with it. Back in the day when they were rare before the first re release they were going for $300+...that's when I sold mine.
  8. Since we're naming non IPMS car clubs there is Masscar model club in Massachusetts...I am not a member but they are a super bunch of people that put on a fantastic show every year, and alos recently opened the contest up to other genres.
  9. Great selection, but the prices are way too high, even with my club discount. Best one I've ever been to was the Hobby Hut in Clearwater, FL..in 1985. The perfect LHS, astounding selection....Pocher kits IN STOCK. Never saw that before.
  10. Now THAT'S some good stuff! Master is an understatement.
  11. Jaime! Nice to see you over here from F1M.com! Great to see the Williams with Beer and Tobacco sposorship.
  12. http://forum.ipmsusa3.org/index.php?showto...amp;#entry31366 For you lazy types...
  13. Pete practices what he preaches on the "pay it forward" front, as I myself have been the recipient of his generosity, and have also embraced this philosophy. Pete, stop being modest and show 'em the Porsche!
  14. Yo PeteJ! Show 'em the Porsche!!
  15. There is no need to paint the letters White....there are many pics out there of cars with the Ford unpainted or just plain worn off.
