  1. Beautiful, clean work! It's always a thrill to follow your work David!
  2. Thanks Kevin! No worries about Jonesing for the box. It is certainly awesome box art!
  3. Here's my latest finished model. This was for a Micro Model Month campaign on another Forums, where you had to build a small scale model during the month of March from the first to the thirty-first. I managed to complete one; this is the 1/72 scale Hobby Boss Russian URAL-4320 cargo truck: I apologize for the pics, they suck eggs! This sure looks better in person. Man, I need to find my camera!
  4. Another of my birthday orders came in and here it is: I now have all four of these Swedish tanks and might get them started fairly soon. Stay tuned....
  5. Nice start Carlos! ACE makes a 1/72 scale version of this that I hope to get soon. I'll do my first four hours on mine and will hopefully make all other meetings to stay in this.
  6. That is sensational Bill! Beautiful job on that NMF! That is a shine and smoothness I can't ever seem to get. Maybe you think it's not a contender, but you could bring it to put on display only so people can see what a great model that is to build!
  7. Wow Ron !Thanks for the memories! You did a magnificent job, better than mine! Then again, I did build mine when I was eight..... Brilliant work man!
  8. Russ, welcome and I'm glad you joined us! I feel your pain getting everything packed up. Good luck with the move and keep building man!
  9. Thank you Kevin! Yeah, I have been trying to get some things done. The faster the better so I can clear out all these space hogging boxes! Carlos, I haven't done the Japanese one, you're thinking of the Vospers Perkasa I think. I never even knew Tamiya had released a Japanese torpedo boat!
  10. Here at the staging area for Maddog Manufacturing, you can see the latest vehicles that we completed as they roll out of the Motor Pool. First is the Canadian Churchill AVRE: Followed by my Russian SA-6 Gainful: And last for this month so far is this US Army M1296 Stryker Dragoon: All of these were weathered with Tamiya weathering powders; I think I'm beginning to start doing this better.... My apologies for the poor pics; these all look far better in person. My Iphone 11 camera does not take good pics, making my editing software have to really work hard to make them acceptable. Man I miss my camera!! Thank you all for checking these out, comments are always welcome.
  11. And another score, here's my most recent acquisition gotten at my IPMS meeting on Friday: I hope to get that on the bench soon.
  12. Wow, I learned something again! I never knew there was a contender against the SR-71. This is an attractive plane that almost looks like the Stealth Fighter in many ways! What a fantastically beautiful bird!
  13. That is sensational! Beautiful job on that detailed engine!
  14. Well, something finally came in... Here are a few things that came in for my birthday. First is this ship given to me by a friend and fellow St. Crispin's Irregular: Renwal USS Shangri La: That will be on one of my slipways very soon. Next, I placed two orders using birthday money. One was to BNA Modelworks in Australia or New Zealand; I can't remember which. Another was ordered from Kitlinx in Utah. I also have a Christmas order I got from Hobby Easy that was ordered back in December. That one is on the slow boat from China as it still has not been delivered. However, the BNA order came in a few days ago.....before the Kitlinx one in Utah! Interesting! Here is what was in that BNA order: Dragon Stryker Dragoon: Finally I have all three! This has even been started as you'll see on the next tour. Now Trumpeter is coming out with an engineer version with a dozer blade. Good thing I just got some more unexpected birthday money! Three IBG Swedish light tanks, the M-38, M-40K and M-40L: I have the IBG Swedish M-39 coming from Kitlinx along with a few others, hopefully soon. That's all until I get the next boxes delivered....
  15. Dig, welcome! I'm glad you made it and now I'm looking forward to seeing your work!
  16. Wow! You would never guess this gave you any trouble! Unbelieveable! That came out looking spectacular!!
  17. Wow, that has been some time in the stash! I'm gonna love following that one.
  18. That looks spot on and very well done! Congratulations! Way to go Ed!
  19. That rocks! Looking forward to seeing that!
  20. Nice Dave! Looks like mine, only you still have room. Mine is so crowded that I cause avalanches every time I turn my chair!
  21. Wow! That definitely looks "rode hard and put away wet"! Nice work!
  22. Nick, I think you are going overboard on your reaction to the responses here. I for one appreciate the warning. After all, not everyone checks the e-mail address of Spam. While I do, some others may not know to do this. Your post here is a valid and welcome alert to the membership here so don't be going crazy because some admin didn't give you the response you were expecting. After all, this organization is the members, not the admin! And yes, it is their responsibility to protect our privacy and they are doing so. While there's nothing they can do to block this kind of thing from happening like Mike said, the membership here needs to see this anyway and you did right by bringing it to everyone's attention.
