  1. I am working on Tamiya's F-14A with the Aires cockpit and exhaust.

My question to the forum is How do you paint the various panels with all the switches and control knobs? Do you paint panel first or do you paint panel and knobs a light grey (camouflage grey). Then try and paint the panel last and what size brush do you use to paint the panel without getting black paint on the grey painted thingys.

  2. I am building the Tamiya 1/48 Bristol Beaufighter as used in the defense of Malta. I am in the final sanding stage. My question is there an out of the bottle paint to match the brown used on the top surface of the aircraft?

    Thanks in advance.

  4. To the group,

I will be building the Kinetic C-2A and I want to replace the kit seats in the cockpit with the seats from Steel Beach Accessories.

All I need to know is were the seats the same or were they different from the E-2 seats

    Thanks in advance.

  5. John,

You might contact the PAO for the squadron. They usually have a squadron history and just might have a photo of their P2v's.

I might have a spare set of original decals that were produced for the P2 when Hasegawa first molded the kit. How quicly do you need them?

  6. Tony, I have them in paint masks, what size (actual) do you need?

    Jeff

    Jeff,

What I need is the no. 13 24" high or 3/4" for the nose (both sides) and wings (top & bottom). I also need the letter P 36" high or 1.125" high for the rudder. I will be using the kit decals for the "NAVY" for the fuselage.

  7. Does anyone know if their are 1/32 scale decals for the 45 degree modex used by the Army Air Corps and the Navy during WWII? Iam building an F8F-s for a former pilot stationed at NAS Denver. I have the plane number and The NAS letter designation for Denver I just need the decals to Finish the model.

    Thanks in Advance.
