I am an Airport Fire Lieutenant in Florida and I have been in the Fire service for 25 years. I also teach at the local community college at the Fire Academy. I started modelling when I was about 5-6, this continued through my teen years, and then resumed when my wonderful wife bought me a model for Christmas of 98. I am fortunate that I have the ability to work on my models while at work as sort of a time killer.
My interests are mainly in armor, but I do build an occaisonal airplane. I was also a volunteer for the Collings Foundation as a local stop coordinator. That was a real thrill as I had the opportunity to ride in a B-17, B-24, and B-25. It really gives you a good perspective and a greater appreciation of what those guys on the crews went through during World War II.
