  1. Now we have two authors in the club - you & Norm Taylor!! Well done Wes.
  2. Might anyone have a 1/24th scale compass decal in their spares box that they don't need? I'm working on a M36B1 conversion, and the azimuth indicator is begging for some detail. The surface of the A.I. is 4mm wide & is round, of course. I need this ASAP if possible. If anyone can help, that would be great. Thanks, Tim
  3. I love it, great idea. From what research I've done, a long time ago, the plan was for the pilot to line-up with his target then bail out of the V-1!! Yea, right. Timmy
  4. I've heard that they are on e-Bay already, you can look there and one member was selling his on the sale/trade page of this forum.
  5. Mark, Thanks for heading the photogs again & uploading the photos. They are great like normal. Timmy
  6. Mark, Thanks for getting the photos posted and a big thank you to our photog, Wes Macon. Timmy
  7. Euro One Dark Green, thanks. Eric, that's a cool site, I'll hav e to "play" with it more
  8. Might anyone know what colour of Dark Green Humbrol 195 is? I looked on the IPMS/Stockholm site and it just lists a Revell paint. This colour is quoted on the Techmod sheet #72041 A6M2 Zero sheet. Thanks, Tim
  9. Could do that but the lights are actually LEDs and there are 3 of them per "lense". So I'm thinking of the black disc with three orange dots on it. I built the SimilR Ford GT and it had the lights, I looked through my left-over decals but didn't see them in there. Thanks for the ideas though.
  10. I'm working on the 1/24th Fujimi Porsche 911GT3R using the SBS slotcar body and Studio 27 decals to make a 2010 Flying Lizard Motorsports car. Neither the kit or the Studio 27 decal sheet provides the three "positions" lights that are on the side just aft of the doors. Might anyone know where I could get these lights, or have a set in their stash that I could beg/borrow/steal? I figure that I could use black decal film cut with my hole punch if need be. Thanks, Tim
  11. I bought a set of really small scissors in the Health & Beauty section of Wal-Mart for a couple of bucks that work very well. Might want to try there
  12. Sweet photos there bud. Can't wait until this year's are up. Too bad they weren't in operation when I was up there, can you believe that was 20 years ago!!!!
  13. Wes, Check out AK Interactive http://www.ak-interactive-usa.com/, they have the paint, washes, etc that you'll need. Tim
  14. Watch out useing MEK, we used it as an aircraft cleaner (it got the old grease off landing gear with no problem) but it can give you chemical burns if it gets on you. I had a nice burn down the inside of my right arm for about 3 months after my time on the wash rack at Nellis back in 79/80. With my past experience with this stuff, I'd never touch it. I use Tamiya Extra-Thin and Testors #3502, both work great and are easy to obtain at my local Hobbytown. Tim
  15. I just might have to built that diorama some time. And as for the Hawg comments, you gotta love the old girl, I sure do as I worked them for 16 of my 20 years in; and one of my jets is on a Hannants sheet .
  16. Eric, Thanks. By useing the instruction sheet from their kit, I'll be able to position them correctly. From the looks of it, the Studio 27 kit is better than the Profil 24. Tim
  17. I have bought the Profil 24 Models Nissan Deltawing, but it's in LeMans 2012 markings and I want to do it as seen at Petite LeMans in October 2012, so I also have the Studio 27 decals #SDFD24002, but the decals do not come with any instructions. Useing many photos found on the 'Net, that I found helpful, but I have no idea where most of the carbon fiber decals are located. I've been to their web site but didn't see a translation for the all-Japanese site or any image of the decals I have. Might anyone out there know where I could find the instruction sheet? Hopefully, Studio 27 will re-do their kit into 2013 Sebring markings, that would be very cool to have that kit as it was chrome this year. Thanks.
  18. Any F-16A decal sheet will work, I know that Microscale, Superscale and Twobobs have/had those at one time. You could also make it into a Dutch or Taiwanese jet if you want to. Eduard had an etched brass set out for the A model as well. Search for F-16A accessories on Sprue Brothers or Hannants and you should find some good stuff. Hope this helps
