  1. That has happened to me numerous times while growing up in Michigan, but I would've been killed by my parents if I threw the shovel at the truck!!
  2. Might anyone know of a turned aluminum 7.5cm StuK40 L/48 that was on the Stug III Ausf G without the muzzle break? The one I'm going to build didn't have the muzzle break and you can see the screwing groves. Thanks,
  3. Mark, That is way too funny. I would've never thought to look there. Anyways, that answers my question. Thanks bud, you always come thru for me don't ya? Tim
  4. I'm working on the Acdemy M-7, what colour would the fire bottles be that are located inside the open fighting compartment? OD? Thanks,
  5. As Gil said above, the numbers involved might daunting. If you're going to do a USAF Squadron, most have a PAA of 20 to 28 in the Fighter Squadron.
  6. Mark, I've used some of their stuff as well and they are great to work with. True, R&J do list some of their stuff but not all, I've ordered directly from them without problem or delay. Unfortunately, they discontinue their products but still list them on the web site, like the Armoured Cab conversion for the RSO - no one has that. Tim
  7. FYI... The map is not part of the IPMS web site, it's in Eric's F1M web site, I only update what you see on the Members Services portion of this great web site. As for updating the list on the Members Services, I do that each time someone sends me info and I then send the updated list to the Webmaster once a month. If someone knows of "bad info', please zap me a PM or e-mail at ipmssec@ipmsusa.org with the correct info. Tim
  8. Jim, I found a set on e-bay for $15, so it's on the way to me. Thank you very much for the idea. Plus I can use the second dude on a dio that I'm working on right now :-)

  11. Jim, That set looks like it'll work, thanks for the heads-up. Tim
  12. Paul, Thanks for the hints. I'll give it a shot, but knowing my luck, I'll dork them up bigtime
  13. I never tried silver, I'll give it a try next time. Thanks.
  14. Adam, I'd paint it white first, then spray the orange. Wait 'till it cures for a week or so, mask that off and spray a clear-coat to prevent any bleed-thru then spray the blue. Good luck, Tim
  15. Might anyone know of someone that could "make" a 1/35th figure for me? I need a WW2 GI sitting on the runnning board of the Italeri WC-54 Ambulance with his elbows on his knees and face in his hands. I don't have the skills needed to sculpt what I need. Thanks,
  16. WolfPack Decals just came out with an Alaska Air Defense sheet in 1/72nd. I haven't bought it yet, and don't remember if it has the -89J on it, but take a look anyways. Skylancer has a sheet out but they are in natural metal.
  17. Archer Dry Transfers is where you need to go. They are great products, very resonable in price and fast service.
  18. John, Thanks for the info. I had just gotten the new XtraDecal sheet for 74 Squadron and would like to do the Gaunlet. I'll check UMM.
  19. I've done a quick search on both Great Models and Squadron looking for a Gloster Gaunlet in 1/72, but came up with nothing. Might anmyone oput there know if one is made in 1/72nd? Thanks,
  20. That helps a whole ton, thanks John for your help.
  21. I'm doing an armoured Jeep from ther 394 Infantry Regiment in the 99th Infantry Division. How would the bumper codes be on the vehicle? I figure it would look like this "99ID 394IR HQ-??". How correct am I? I can't read the bumper codes on the photo I'm working off of. Thanks.
  22. I bought a bag of trees from Busch, that's probably the German company that you're talking about. They look good but small for 1/35th, but they'll still work.
  23. Thanks for the info, I guess that I'll give it a shot
