  1. Hello,

    Mortars used aiming stakes and they were always laid in front of the mortar. We would refer and realign the mortar to fire at 6400 degrees. The stakes were run out at 25 and 50 meters. Terrian dependent. We only used two sets and it was basically used to insure the gun was layed in the same view point as the observer. Direction was EVERYTHING.

  2. I have fixed the carpet crawling issue. Well, most of it anyway. I attempt most of my building on the carpet and cover it with a cheap white bed sheet. It allows almost any plastic or metal part to be quickly retrieved. I have my desk but it usally isn't used anymore. I am more comfortable on the floor. The Stryker looks awesome but is way too small for my eyes and fat fingers.
