  1. Treadheads and anyone else that may know this. This is an excellent conversion kit. It is designed to use any of the new AFV Club Centurions. Gorgeous Resin and unlike their Puma Kit.....lots less PE brass. However, the instructions call out to add .01 Millimeter spacers between the hull and running gear parts. Is that .010 gauge stock?

  2. Mark,

I think that is the problem. There is no such thing as a all "powerful" tweezers. I lost four of the Bronco wing nuts when I was installing them. I have vacuumed the area twice and not found them which means they went airborne outside the work area. I guess I just have to keep trying. Thanks for the offer though.

  3. I had a really good angled on from Revlon. It was the best. During my last move, it came up missing and can not find it anywhere. I also can't stand the positive pressure ones. I break too many pieces. I had the same problem with forceps. too mush pressure and the held part deformed or broke.

  4. Can anyone recommend a good set of general purpose tweezers? I have ones from three different Make up manufacturers, several from miniature tool places and some from the medical profession. Most if not all seem to still not hold the part properly. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  5. I don't do aircraft either. I went out to my LHS and bought a 1/32 Superscale set for a ME-262 to get the crosses I used on mine. Of course, the rest of the set is in my spares box. I love looking through my spares box when I start decalling my WarHammer miniatures. You can use just about anything. I have numerous different HO and O scale decals that look really neat on some of the figures.

  6. I will never forget the first time I super glued my whole had to the table. I knocked over the tube and it used out into a puddle and I placed my hand right in it. Five minute drying time my rear. I was never so embarrassed in all my life. Of course, using a razor blade to remove my hand from the 1/2 glass table top was not fun either.

  7. Ed,

You are wrong!!!! I distinctly see a black colored bead of Squadron Green putty or thick super glue holding the wing to the fuselage. My guess is that it has been painted black because green would clash with the gray overall gray effect.

  8. David,

While I agree with your assessment, Would it not have been better for Quickboost to redo the whole Nacelle (I hope that's the correct terminology) and released a better set? I am looking at this from the amount of correction that would be needed to flare in the piece to match the rest of it. I feel for anyone attempting that job.
