Sorry Michael,
That is an IDF PUMA. It looks like this.
-
Duke,
Sent ya a PM!
-
Steve,
Same here. The Panzer IIIs are mentioned only in reference. I have seen no photographic proof as of yet. But, then again, I have only seen two photographs of what are believed to be Syrian Hummels also. I actually started a SIG on the Middle East Wars and if you have photos of your M-50, I would love to post them!

Lookin Good!!!

Ken,
I don't do airplanes. Why is there two different shades of green on the inside of the fuselage? I thought it was all zinc chromate green? The shots look great and can't wait to see the finished product.

Pro-Weld works pretty well also. I am still a major user of Testors liquid glue. Just have to wait for the SLOW set time. Probably a good thing that I don't build aircraft.

Even though I had to put on my Opti-Visor to see them, they look great. Keep up IRON DUKE!

What a great job. Looks great in the gallery.

Michael,
I have an old Centurion That was converted over to a Puma. I can go look into it. I also have the AFV Club Centurion turret (I used the Lion Roar one). Let me know. The Tamiya Cent might even have the lower tub and track. I used the roadwheels though.

Never.....water, alcohol, paste and future. Never spit.

I might have to also!

Mike,
Is that the happy Panda dance or the "my porridge is just right dance"?

Welcome!!! Welcome!!! All are welcome!!!

In an old issue of MILITARY MODELER, a guy did it with sheet styrene on the old Tamiya kit. It really isn't that hard.

The topic and the replies remind me of the movie "Space Jam" when they spit shine the gym! Really gross!!!!

Gil (the other one),
Thanks for the compliment (I think). Knowing people is what makes this hobby so much fun and why I am slightly upset that I won't be making the Nats this year. However, wife and I are planning for next years already. Made a lot of new friends for getting involved more and stepped on a few toes too. Hopefully, I didn't crush any.

Gil,
I dropped the Green Dragon after I became a moderator. I wanted people to know immediately who they were talking with if I sent an Official PM. Also, didn't want to give a wrong idea about the Green Dragons if I posted something that someone might find offensive.
Tim,
I know where Jack lives so as long as he has his ankle monitor on, I know where he is and feel safe.

I do actually have a couple Chieftans to convert over when I get the urge.

Young......not! Handsome......well, as long as my wife thinks so.....all is right in the world!

And.......Very proud of it. I know I will NEVER finish ALL the kits I have amassed. I do however, have intentions of building all but my Aurora Prehistorics, Addar POAs, and MPC Pirates of the Caribbeans. My collection has been completely revamped since I decided to stick mostly with the Middle East Wars (1948-Present). I have very little German Armor (except for the Panzer IIIs and IVs (that Syria used). Most of it is Russian and American armor used by the warring factions. I started as a "help Dad build his models", got hooked on the Monogram 1/48 WWII stuff and fell in love with the Monogram Brumbar. Been hooked on armor ever since. I still love looking at aircraft, but that is about as far as it goes. I do plan of building a few Middle East Wars aircraft but not for awhile. I took my first step from being a model builder to being a collector back in 1982. A young private and his first paycheck. I believe I bought two of everything the Four Seasons (AAFES version of toyland) had in there for armor. Back in those days we actually had contracts with Testors and Tamiya. What a field day.

You are a sadist!!! Can't stand plastic link to link track. Give me Fruilmodel or the DS any day of the week.
-
Excellent work. Dragons T-80 track is the same way. Even with the idler adjusted all the way out, the track was two links too long. When I get ready to use them again, I plan to cut them short to start.

Yes,
All are welcome to the dark side.....ARMOR RULES!!!

Best of luck. That's why I build tanks. Usually errors are easier to fix. I have never used the baking soda method before. Always straight super glue.

Still having the Hummel kick my butt. Thought I was done but now there are six shield braces that no matter where I put them, they don't what to stay. The Dragon directions are vague and the "Nuts and Bolts" is very helpful. Of course, the real thing doesn't really match the Dragon parts or locations. Then I can finish my 67 Centurion, Lebanese Gun Truck, and Fitter.
