Resizing photos to the reviews standards ruins many. I don't notice it all in photographs but the scans I do (especially books) get ruined when I resize to the 600x800 the review standards want.

John,
Welcome and post away. We are here to learn and assist.

I know I tried buying the T-80 track out of their M-51 Premium addition and they said they could not do that. Luckily, they have now issued it as a separate kit. They have always answered by emails within three days.

OK...Mr. Mom,
Where's the photos? Come on "o proud one"!!! Totally congrats though.

Very clean redo indeed!

Matt,
Great job.....that is why I don't do cars. I could never make the finish look that nice.

Les,
Unfortunately, you can get a Friday or Monday can/bottle of that as well! Luckily, The clear gloss seems to have at least made it all look good. I'll know for sure after the washes and transfers are applied and get it the flat coat.

Wow...I'm fricking impressed!!!!!

Also remember, no matter the brushing, thinning, or your abilities. Sometimes you just get a Friday or Monday can of paint. I sprayed my Hummel and the Flat OD was actually semigloss. The paint was fully mixed and I even brushed some onto a test tank and it dried semigloss as well to verify that I hadn't messed up. When I re-fire today, I'll use a different tin.

Andy,
Very nice (even if it is a plane). Looks great. I have read reviews of Eduard's Hetzer and it was all good too. Keep them coming!
Dennis, is the weekend version like Dragon's Smart Kit?

Marvelous!

Gallagher Rocks! I do have my 10 pound sledge in the Garage. However, that would damage even my Government issue utility desk.

Gilbert,
It is right on my desk. So far, I have refrained from using it!

Having no interior shots of any of the five Syrian Hummels I guessed what kind of mount was used. It could have even been a swing arm contraption. I know they made some weird DSHK mounts for their T-34/85s and Stug IIIs. Hopefully get some more work this week and weekend.

Here is a interior shot right before the final OD paint job was applied.

I just to think it was to relax myself and enjoy the build. After last nights painting episode, I'm not so sure. There I was painting the Hummel and waiting for the Humbrol FLAT olive drab to dry so I could see where I may have missed. After 30 minutes it was still not flat. I touched and found it to be dry. I checked the tin and it was fully mixed. Luckily, since I have to gloss it anyways it isn't that big a deal but it sure made me wonder why I do this. It must be to enjoy the "overcoming of adversity".

Funny you should mention EBAY. There is one seller offering it @ $3.25 and says he has more than 10 available.

This side of the "pond" ROCKS!!!

Actually Verlinden does do white metal. I think it may have something to do with import/export regulations. I have several of their figure sets (Vietnam tank crew) in both metal and resin. Exact same figures and castings....just metal as opposed to resin. There may have been a country where resin was illegal to import to (that would be my only guess).

Is Tenax being discontinued because of the hazards? If so, and the Samestuff is the same formula, won't they be discontinued also?
-
Mike,
Can I get you to come over and paint my 1/1 96 Eclipse? No work needed......just paint.
