  1. This build I did last year but unfortunately it has been decommissioned as I was not totally satisfied with the results. But regardless here itis with two different tractors:
  2. More details added and now complete. -------------------- I made this diorama for my 'Crash' Renault Magnum tracktor unit, before putting it up for sale. This is the result, Unfortunately the forum does not allow me to post more than 5 pics at a time. So I'll have to wait until some post before I can post another 5 pics:
  3. Here is a build I did a while ago. The tractor unit was heavily modified with the chassi from two kits and some scratchbuilding. I also added a scratch built trailer to give the overall look a some-what outrageous look. At least I think so. The trailer inspiration was taken from two trailers, one from the net and the other from a trailer around my area. Added a couple more details after these pics were taken but will upload them later. Here are the photos. Oh, and BTW, this took first prize and Gold at the 08 Stockholm IPMS Openin March:
  4. Thanks Chuck. It's been a while since I visited this forum. The boat trailer was completed. I'll make a new thread for the boat trailer. This DAF has since been put into a small diorama.
  5. Thanks Dave. Yeah, the Land Rover seems to be a favorite amoung most that have seen all three vehicles.
  6. ...I bought it at some store that sells all kinds of jewelery for teenagers.
  7. I know IKEA,. I should know. I live in Sweden ;) What I mean is what does it have to do with IKEA?
  8. This second build is an Italeri 4 wheel drive 109" LWB kit I bought on Ebay. I am not completely finished with this kit yet. I still have many extra accessories to add, which I'm waiting on. This little vignette is called 'Proud'. The African driver is proud of how he managed to pack his entire belongings in one go. The idea comes from looking at many pictures of various overloaded vehicles from around the world. Some more rediculous than others. I am adding another figure of a guy taking a pic of the African driver and his personal belongings. Will post pictures when I've completed this project. The figure is one of my first try at building a decent figure so please go easy. It is not 100% complete yet.
  9. This project, like all my other projects, had to be different. :) This one I call - Smashed! It is a Renault Magnum. I looked at many pics of different truck crashes and went on from there. Enjoy the photos.
  10. Ha Ha...Thanks Ed. It is the Italeri kit. My build time was about 2 weeks but it is shorter if you count the number of hours I had to work on it each day. ;) I am planning on building a boat trailer to go with this but I do not have much space as I live in a two bedroom apartment with my girlfriend and daughter. So I'll have to decide where to put it before building it. It's a bit step from 1/35 scale ;)
  11. his is my first 1 / 24 scale truck ever. So go easy on me. This is a DAF 380ati Space cab, an old kit. The kit went together quite well except for some minor issues with battery box, which did not fit well. I also had problems with the painting that caused a rough surface on the passenger side. But besides that, it was a fun kit to build. Hope you all like it. I'm still adding little details every now and then.
