About Me
I am retired from the military, Army to be exact. I have been building models since the days of Aurora models. Lately I have crossed over to paper modeling. It is a very interesting hobby in that you have to take something that is flat and turn it into a three dimensional object. It is more demanding than plastic in that respect and easier than plastic, in that if you make a mistake, you just make another copy of the part and re do it again. The biggest plus for this hobby, is that paper is more forgiving and way more economical than plastic. Even when I scratched built with styrene, it was more expensive. For the price of a ream of cardstock, I can build hundreds of models depending on the size and scale of course.
