  2. Just letting everyone in the greater Birmingham, AL area know that the Phantom Phlashers will no longer be meeting at the Southern Museum of Flight. In this economy, it is more important for the museum to rent their rooms than it to have a model club on hand. That being said, we will be meeting now at the Homewood Library in Homewood, AL.     Type 22 Zero

    This is Tamiya's new Type 22 in 1/48. Everything is ootb, save the tape seat belts and some fine solder piping on the floor board. Paints are White Ensign Mitsubishi Interior Green with the details picked out with Vallejo & Citadel acrylics. all the metallics so far have been picked out with a Berol silver color pencil. A little Citadel wash was also applied in the recesses. More Zero Madness to come...
