Very nice work! I have not seen many of these built up and it's a nice change. Keep up the terrific work! later, Lee
  2. Love it! Terrific choice of unique markings and I like how your blue has an "overspray" effect...very cool! later, Lee

  9. Good stuff! Thanks for the link! Later, Lee
  10. As an aiside to David's terrific help Ventura DID offer the KY ANG F-51 decals in 1/48 (I have a set actually but cannot recall the product code) and 1/32 (product code V3259). They may not list it on their site but if you ask around someone may have a set they would part with. Just helpin' out, Lee
  11. Gil pretty much nailed it. You could also see about researching decal sheets and seeing if the pilot in question has had his aircraft replicated on a decal sheet. Not only would you have the markings but generally decal sheets list the sources used. Just a thought. Later, Lee
  12. Lookin' good, Gil! I'd like to eventually give one of the Eduard P-39s a whirl. Later, Lee
  13. No worries, mark. I'd hate for you to miss out as it's a nifty kit. I'm sure if you posted up something in the Wants & Disposals section you'd have someone willing to part with one. Ed, that was really classy of you to post that info up on the kit. Later, Lee
  14. Yes, it's injection-molded. Nice kit and really looks sharp once completed (as you can see from Clare's build). I would think that you could find one for between $10-20, mark. Later, Lee
  15. Well, I am speechless...utterly speechless. I have this kit...started...and now I see exactly how inferior it's going to look once completed! I'll just use this build for some serious inspiration. Blown Away, Lee
  16. Very nice, Clare! Is this teh original release or the newer one from last year? Love the markings. Everts Air still flies a few of them. Jsut saw one last Saturday at the Kenai Airport here in Alaska. All nice and shiny polished aluminum. Later, Lee
  17. Wow, I am sorry to hear that the planes were stolen, Mark. That's a real shame. At least you have been able to locate kits to replicate what you had taken from you. I've built the Williams Bros. C-46 and it's a nice kit. Hopefully you can track one down. Later, Lee
  18. That is terrific, Gil! Very cool to see a P-38 in civil markings. A sweet job on this one! Later, Lee
  19. Bart, I just wanted to give a shout out on a job very well done! I have the Czech Model kit and your fine build and excellent article will be a terrific guide to making my build just a bit easier and a better quality build for my shelf. Kudos on a terrific article, sir! Later, Lee
  20. really fine work there, Mark! Love the C-75 and that's cool that you could replicate your missing Bonanza. Mind if I ask what happened in '07 at the Nats? Newbie here and I'm just trying to get up to speed. Later, Lee
  21. Terrific work, James! I'd like to pick up or trade for one of the Trumpeter Sea Furys as it is one of my all-time favorite aircraft. An outstanding job, sir! Later, Lee
  22. Just an amazing amount of work you have going on, Mark! Keep up teh awesome work! Later, Lee
