  1. Last two weeks were busy at work, but ... on the modelling workshop work was done ...
  2. Yes, start is nice, but we have to remember it's short run kit. I never know where are the gaps in short run's. :-) In box all parts look fine, and the kit is only a start base. It needs many corrections to build proper Fulmar .... In that case it'll be only OOB model with a few small modifications.
  3. Thanks :-) Canopy is from the kit. Decals are from I-16 and Fokker D.XXI kits / "Kami De Koro Koro". Additionl parts "from scratch" are: - MG barrels (mounted on the fuselage), - radio wire antenna - hydraulic parts to close/open undercarriage. I thought about better detailed undercarriage, and cockpit interior - probably next model LaGG-3 form Zvezda will be with this details. But ... I neeed time to collect data and correct plans. The decals below are from resin kit Fairy Kikaku Kit. I used only code names. Raster on the printing was not acceptable.
  4. Last relation ... ... and final gallery ... :-)

Kit from 50's !!! Wow !... decals are from original kit ?
  6. It's scale 1/144. Kit is not too old - it has been on the market one or two years ago, as a new tool kit from ZVEZDA. Material is a little elastic ... It makes a problems with polishing and filling, but it is posiisble - it takes a time.
  7. Hi, Last week I started building this small plane ... A few photos from the workshop:
  8. Good job ! :-) I've got the same at home to make ... It's still waiting to start on the workshop ... Did You add only refueling pod to standard kit ?
  9. Good job - each model this machine needs effort. Looks ideal. :-)
  10. In Opel's case the base colors were applied using acrylic Vallejo, and for the wash was used artistic enamel with thinner. It needs more time to dry, but for me is more realistic or if You would like "more natural". Wash on Opel was applied into two phases. 1) At first was used thin fraction (with more thinner) I waited a fen minuted (max. 10-15). 2)After that was used thick fraction (with more enamel). It naturally filled the "depressions", panel lines and etc. Is good leave it to dry on a 1-2 days and in next step it may be saved, applying one layer colorless acrylic paint (matt, semi-gloss, or gloss - depends what is needed).
  11. I've found info about that machine. Is is in the US museum ... Museum link ... It was version F-84F-46-GK produced in batch 148 planes in numbers range 52-8835 / 8982. On the photo it is painted with US markings and numbers ... No info about French unit using that plane
  12. Mark, Easy ... I think my job in military cars may be a correct base ... maybe that I have seen mine friend's model ... in the same scale ... ... coming back to Opel ... Full details from building process are here : History and model ... (in polish language ...) and about wash .... a few details ... here: Wash ...
  13. Hi, I make mainly aircrafts, but sometimes I build a military truck's models. Below is one of few ...
  14. On the market is available Roden kit n scale 1/72. I don't know is it good or not, but at this moment is the newest kit in that scale. Pawel

  17. Gratulations ! Good Job and rate in building !
  18. Model is cool. :-) Interesting theme and object too. Rising Decals prepare it on japanese books. From my sources - plane was called as "Yontan Tony". Airfield in original japanese name was called Yomitan.
  19. Tim, Very fine model. Propeller blades's colour was described in a Aeromaster's instruction ?
  20. Very good work ! Takeo Tanimizu was the pilot ? It's interesting Japanese like this ace's plane. Years ago in scale 1/72 Academy added the same pilot's decals.
  21. Looks nice :-) Carrier deck was in the kit ?
  22. At this year in my workshop shuould be finished : - Fairey Fulmar, Smer, 1/72 (Operation Torch) - Wildcat F4F-4, (Operation Torch) - Texan T-6 (JSDAF)
