IF (and I say if) you have a good supply of plastic and/or metal tubing you can find a size of tubing that fits "snugly' over the pin of the tail plane, cut a short section of it, and glue it into the hole on the fuselage; effectively making your own "polycap". Otherwise, short of sleeving it, it looks like you'll need to glue it in place. Gil1 point

Thanks all...I lost count of the people who simply THANKED us for HAVING the show! Jim: I do believe the F-18C is the Kinetic kit....and it's also the only one that comes with wing fold option in the kit that I'm aware of. Gil1 point

This is a 3D printed1/35th Cape Buffalo figure from Shapeways. I'd post bigger images , but the forums is only giving me .71MB to work with. The figure comes as one piece molded in white. The hunting rifle mon the ground is an old H&R white metal casting with a lead foil strap. The animals weigh in at about 2000lb and often kill more people than Lions or crocodiles. Dak

I was one of the judges at Chattanooga. With 3112 entries, it required some serious work to pick the top entries. For dioramas, don't try to put EVERYTHING into a scene. Less is better. Consider how the main subject got into position; tanks, airplanes, and artillery are not weightless and need to be moved. Remember, gravity is a heartless master, this on a ramp or slope roll down hill. Dak1 point

A Macchi C.200 shot down by an LRDG patrol. This is the pacific Coast kit and is really horrid. There is a HUGE gap at the wing roots and the landing gear has a rotten fit. The resin engine needs lots of detail work. D-Day figures. Dak
