TheAustin Scale Modeler's Society hosts an annual model show and contest - 'The Capitol Classic'.
The theme for this year's contest is 'Summer of Love'. Any model in any scale that represents a subject manufactured orin use in 1967 is eligible to win the theme award.

2019 Modelfest will be held on Saturday, October 5th at Liberty Christian Fellowship,1815 W Liberty Dr, Liberty, MO 64068
This year's special theme is the 75th Anniversary of D-Day; any subject - Axis or Allied - that was involved with the June 6, 1946 invasion of Normandy.
Registration will be open from 9:00am until noon, with awards at 3:00pm.
Admission
Adults (18+): $10.00 for the first 3 entries, $1.00 for each additional entry
Juniors (17 and under): free
Walk-in (not competing): $3.00 per person, kids under 12 are free
Judging
All categorieswill be judges according to IPMS rules
Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Best Of in each category
