Ron Bell
This is a vacuform kit of this rather nice looking aircraft used by the RAF for a variety of training/transport rolls back in the day. Usual Airmodel kit with minimal detail and "iffy" fit. They say you can use almost any three bladed props with spinners, but the ones I found that looked the closest, at least in my spares box, were from an Airfix He-111! I did all I could to get the bugger to sit on its nose, but despite my best efforts, it's still a tail dragger, hence the clear prop under the fuselage. There are many flaws, but it is a pleasing aircraft visually.
ghodges
Love it! That's quite a good looking scheme too. How did you handle the side fuselage windows? Are they individual parts, or was the fuselage molded in clear plastic? They look pretty sharp! Ron Bell
The windows were sort of outlined on the fuselage. i cut them out and later filled them with Krystal Kleer and a final coat of Future That final coat keeps the Krystal Kleer from turning milky in humidity and provides a nice high gloss.
