Hey Folks

I havent built a lot of Korean war subjects, for the most part I know that most armor colors on all sides.

Did the USMC use something different a more green color?

I don't think armor colors changed much between the end of WWII and Korea regardless of it being "Army" or "Marine". Also, keep in mind that much of the armor used in the first few months of the war was rushed over from Japan, and still more that arrived next came out of storage as they filled the need for a conventional war they didn't expect. I'm betting almost all of it was still in WWII basic colors. Take that as a completely uninformed opinion based on common sense, and not references!

Not that I want to have the "Marine Green" controversy rear its ugly head, but I do recall reading (maybe on another forum?) that the Marines DID repaint many vehicles AFTER WWII--and before Korea--in the Marine green color. That said, I don't recall if anyone posted a current paint offering in that particular shade of green, but it is apparently more green than OD.
