VonL Posted November 29, 2015 Report Share Posted November 29, 2015 Am looking for a photo, or a decent verbal description of the nose art for Wild Weasel F-105F 63-8356 'Miss Molly' that was shot down by a MiG-17 over NVN on 05 Jan 68 (Hartney and Fantle, MIA). The jet was from the 354th TFS, 355th TFW at Takhli RTAB. Other WW jets from this timeframe lack the 2-letter tail codes for the unit, so the markings are otherwise generic. There is a shot of the tail feathers out there, but have not seen the nickname anywhere. ALSO: If there was some sort of standardized application of jet nicknames for this unit/time period, a pic of that would be a good lead. Thanx for any help!
