ghodges Posted April 17, 2014 Report Share Posted April 17, 2014 Built all the Deal's Wheels as a kid, and have gotten a real kick out of the ones I've been able to build the last couple of years... The McLapper...painted the racing stripe and the rest of the decals are from a Pinewood Derby sheet! The VW Van...built this one over 2 days in about 18hrs! The Trans-Um...painted the stripe on this one too. I've enjoyed painting the figure heads as much as building the kits. I have the Zzzzzzz-28 and the '57 Heavy yet to build. I wish Revell would re-release the rest (the Love Bug, Stinkray, and the Phony Cars); but alas....no joy from what the rep told me! They're VERY hard to find at shows or on Ebay too! Anyway, these things take me right back to the early 70's....and have been some of the happiest modeling I've done in recent years! GIL Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
